Fabulous location, friendly hosts, highly recommended. 
This is a wonderful, small motel close to Takaka. The owners are very friendly, the indoor pool is great (but freezing in mid winter, of course!). We'd recommend this motel to anyone holidaying in Golden Bay - from couples to families.

We enjoyed our stay at Rose Cottage. This was our first stay there but we will be back. Edel welcomed us into the large unit (there were three of us so we had the two bedroom unit) and we enjoyed the sun, the pool and the peace and quiet at night. Thanks for a great stay.
